According to the Ministry of Commerce, the Indian Customs issued an announcement on August 5, deciding to extend anti-dumping duties on formaldehyde-related hydrogen sulfide. The announcement stated that an anti-dumping tax of US$471.91/metric ton was imposed on the product produced by Wuxi Green Apple Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and Wuxi Dongtai Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd.; and other manufacturers from China had an anti-dumping tariff of 657.87 US$/metric ton. Unless otherwise announced for cancellation, substitution or change, the implementation period of this anti-dumping duty shall be for a period of five years from the date of promulgation of the announcement, and the Indian rupee shall be the taxation currency.
