This caused a lot of engineering to appear rusty in stainless steel. There are more than 200 varieties of stainless steel, not all of which can be used as point-supporting curtain wall fittings. The point-supporting curtain wall fittings are bare outside, and the requirements for corrosion resistance are relatively high.

We believe that when stainless steel is used, the most suitable type should use stainless steel containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel. When all metals are oxidized with air, an oxide film is formed on the surface. The oxide formed on ordinary steel will continue to oxidize to form a rusted surface. However, since the stainless steel contains at least 11% of chromium, the properties of the oxide layer are changed to prevent further oxidation, and if the oxide film is accidentally removed, a new oxide film is formed and continues to protect.

2. The design of the connection between the metal plate and the glass of the glass rib support point-supported curtain wall is unreasonable.

The glass-ribbed point-supported curtain wall overcomes some of the shortcomings of the traditional all-glass curtain wall and has been used more and more in recent years. Traditional all-glass façades, when the height exceeds 6m, tempered glass is no longer available. Because the current domestic tempering furnace can temper 6m long glass and all glass curtain wall with height more than 6m, only non-tempered glass can be used. When the non-tempered glass is broken, it will hurt people and the strength is relatively low. The strength of tempered glass is 3 to 5 times that of non-tempered glass. Therefore, thicker glass is required to meet the strength. The extra long thick glass is more expensive and the installation is more complicated. Therefore, the number of holes does not increase the load carrying capacity of the glass. Generally, one end of the glass rib with a small cross-section height can be fixed by two bolts. The end of the glass rib with a large cross-section height can be fixed with up to 3 bolts.

3, lamination, hollow glass opening should pay attention to the difference

Laminated and hollow glass are used more and more in point-supported glass curtain walls. In the actual project, the opening of the glass is prone to some problems, and the docking bolt is not installed in the glass hole. The main problem is that the laminated rubber and the insulating glass are all made of two or more layers of glass. Many of the inner and outer layers of the glass have the same aperture. The processing process is first drilling, tempering, and then laminating or insulating glass. After the glass is drilled, there will be some allowable deviation in the hole pitch. If the direction of the deviation is opposite, after the synthetic lamination and insulating glass, the diameter of the hole will not meet the design requirements, and the glass hole stack will appear. Therefore, in order to avoid the above situation, the diameter of the inner glass hole is larger than that of the outer glass to digest the difference of the glass holes.
