Glutinous rice cultivation points

Glutinous rice is widely used and can be used for both medicine and food. It is a top-grade supplement. One of the treasures of Babao porridge is glutinous rice kernel. 1. Seed treatment. Select the sunny weather before the broadcast, spread the seeds evenly on the floor, and often flip and basking for 1-2 days. Soak the sun-dried seeds in cold water for 10-16 hours to allow them to fully absorb water and facilitate germination. Seed dressing with 20% triadimefon, the amount of which is 0.4% of the important amount of seeds can prevent smut and leaf blight.

2, sowing. The glutinous rice should be sown at the latest before the end of May. If it is too late, the fruit will not mature and affect the yield. Use a plow to open a ditch 10 cm deep, then cover the soil and suppress it to keep the soil moist. After the sowing, there is no rain and continuous flood irrigation. The seedlings can be produced in about 15 days, and the acreage is 5-6 kg. If the water and fertilizer conditions are good, the amount of acre can be increased, which is conducive to high yield.

3. Field management. In the growing season of glutinous rice, we should focus on four aspects: cultivating, weeding, topdressing and irrigation. After the rain, cultivating, keeping the field free of weeds; fertilization when the seedling height is 30 cm, the fertilization standard is the same as that of corn, but the glutinous rice is suitable for nitrogen fertilizer, and should be applied with 75-100 kg of ammonium bicarbonate. Glutinous rice is resistant to fertilizer and requires a large amount of water, especially in the heading, flowering and filling stages, otherwise it will not affect the production.

4. Harvest. The glutinous rice leaves turn yellow and dry, and the beads are harvested when they become black ash. The general harvest period is mid-to-late October. Even the stalks are harvested, sorted into bundles, stacked for 1-2 days, beat hard, the glutinous rice beads fall off by themselves, and finally become high-quality glutinous rice beads after drying, screening and removing impurities.
