The world's sixth largest tungsten mine is about to go into production

Withers Environmental Consulting is conducting an Environmental Assessment (EIA) of the South African Riviera Tungsten Project to determine if it can be mined. The mine is located near Piketberg in Western Cape Province, with an estimated reserve of 1.068 billion tons and a tungsten oxide taste of between 0.28 and 0.31%. Antaike believes it may be the sixth largest tungsten mine in the world.

Bongani Mining submitted a mining rights application to the Ministry of Mines in April 2009.
